Fast Food Calorie Counter

If you like eating Mcdonalds fast food then check out their web site and look for Calorie counter. I was amazed how much sodium (mg) is in all their food. One thing we as humans don't need more of in our food to "taste" better is sodium or salt. Look at the Angus bacon cheese hamburger. Come on now, it doesn't even sound close to being a fraction of healthy here.

Have you ever wonder what's in that McDonald's hamburger? Ever wonder how and/or why you can leave out for months on end and it will never spoil? Do the test and buy a hamburger and set it out and see how long it will stay on the counter without spoiling. Kinda scary...right? Now rush right out and get that happy meal and don't forget your "diet soda" because after all you are watching what you eat.

After watching our short Food Inc video, it makes me think why does the FDA allows HFCS into packaged and processed food to stay fresh longer? HFCS has been linked to the rise of diabetes, poor nutrition, dental cavities and higher triglyceride levels which cause heart attacks.

The video Food Inc looks like a very interesting video on how our food is processed in todays world. It definitely makes me thing more about the cruel treatment animals go through in such a short life, such as chickens.
